In the event of an accident, total loss or theft of the vehicle during the rental period, renter’s liability will be limited to $1000.00 USD. This does not apply to total negligence by the renter and can be deemed null and void in the event of negligence. Basic Protection does not cover damage to tires, rims, vehicle canvas tops, cigarette burns on upholstery or cigarette smoke odor. Charges may also still apply for roadside assistance. Additionally, a $250.00 USD security deposit hold will be placed on renter’s provided Credit Card, which will be released upon the return of the rental as long as the vehicle is returned in its original state at the commencement of the rental period. Release times may vary based on renter’s financial institution.
